About the artist

Erika Grape is a 1994-born abstract painter, professional gardener and YouTube content creator based and active in Sweden, Europe. She's a fine arts high school graduate, university dropout and twice a uni of arts reject with two years of foundation school experience in fine art, graphic design and illustration. In 2016 she had a custom made piece featured in New York Times bestselling novel "It Gets Worse" by author Shane Dawson. 

Erika decided to keep her work abstract in 2017 as a liberation from her own perfectionism, allowing her to have a more experimental approach to art. Just like a punk rock singer’s voice isn’t necessarily perfect, Erika’s abstract paintings don’t need to be eighter. Most of the time the thoughts and emotions that emerge during the process are more important than the end result.

All works are painted on MDF-boards.
